StreamFix did not start as a business idea. It started as a problem nobody was answering properly.
In 2025, our founder moved from London to Prague for six months and discovered that none of his usual streaming services would load any more. BBC iPlayer, for example, only works inside the UK. After hours of frustration, tangled Reddit threads and several VPNs that did not live up to their promise, he put together a simple page listing what actually works. He shared it on Reddit, and within a week thousands of people around the world had read it. Replying to each of them turned into a second job.
People did not need another paid VPN review ranked by commission rates. They needed concrete, tested and, above all, current information: which platform works in which country, and what to do when something stops working. In April 2026 we are launching StreamFix publicly under our own domain. We currently cover 122+ streaming services across 194 countries. One single page has grown into a small team. The mission has not changed one bit.

The first prototype was a simple guide for Czech expats: how to reach ČT and Nova from abroad. The Reddit post was read by thousands within days. It was clear the problem was not just ours, and that a proper streaming map across countries did not exist.

April 2026, public launch
StreamFix steps into the world.
After a year of gathering data, testing VPNs and writing guides, we are going live at www.streamfix.io. 122 streaming platforms, 7 verified VPN providers, 194 countries and 5 languages (Czech, English, German, Spanish, French).
Q2
Summer 2026
Three more languages.
We open the site to another 300 million readers. Italian, Polish and Portuguese, including the Brazilian variant, are added. Every edition is written by a native speaker, never machine-translated.
Q3
Autumn 2026
Regional streaming at scale.
The catalogue grows by 2000+ local streaming services from Asia, Scandinavia, the Balkans and Africa. Japanese and Dutch join the list.
API
December 2026
A public API for developers.
We launch a public REST API covering platform availability, VPN results and localisation. Webhooks, tier-based rate limits and a sandbox environment for testing are all included.

Early 2027
Mobile apps.
iOS and Android apps arrive with push notifications. You will know the moment a new title hits your library, or when a VPN starts working with a service that used to be blocked.

Spring 2027
Real time and community.
Daily tests give way to real-time VPN-to-platform monitoring. Community verification opens up for readers who want to contribute their own data.

If you buy a VPN through one of our links, we receive a commission. We say so on every page. That is how the site stays free for everyone.
We never sell placement
No VPN provider can pay to rank higher in our tables. Positions depend entirely on our test results.
We also review VPNs we earn nothing from
Some VPNs in our comparisons have no affiliate deal with us at all. We still include them if they are relevant and hold up in testing.
Advertisers do not shape content
No VPN company has ever changed or removed anything written on StreamFix. If one ever asked, the answer would simply be no.
