WTA TV is the Women’s Tennis Association’s own paid streaming subscription, running under WTA Ventures since 2017. Major changes
- The WTA launched its own streaming app for live women's tennis, aimed mainly at markets with no exclusive local broadcaster. It was built on the StreamAMG platform.
- The tour set up its commercial unit WTA Ventures. Private-equity firm CVC Capital Partners put in 150 million dollars for a 20 percent stake, targeting tripled revenue.
- Canal+ acquired women's tour rights in Czechia and Slovakia for five seasons through 2028. From January 2024 that closed the legal route via the WTA's own app in those markets.
- In its first full year WTA Ventures lifted revenue by about a quarter, a record commercial result for the association driven by fresh media and sponsorship deals.
- WTA Ventures and Tennis Channel extended their US media-rights deal by six years through 2032. Tennis Channel stays the exclusive American home of the women's tour.
- The association published its 2026 calendar with ten WTA 1000 events, seventeen WTA 500 and twenty-two WTA 250. The whole tour bar the Slams flows into the app too.
- The season climaxed in Riyadh at the WTA Finals, where Elena Rybakina beat Aryna Sabalenka. The top-tier showdown streamed live through the tour's own app as well.
