- Andrew Neil walked away from the chairman and presenter roles after a rocky launch. The schedule and leadership began regrouping around opinion shows and commentators rather than straight news.
- The broadcaster rolled out paid "GB News Membership" in three tiers, adding paywalled documents, exclusive shows, quizzes and live events. The scheme is optional and the live channel stayed free.
- Ofcom fined the channel £100,000 for breaching impartiality rules with its "People’s Forum" programme featuring then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The broadcaster rejected the ruling and sought judicial review.
- The High Court quashed two Ofcom rulings over presenter Jacob Rees-Mogg, the first successful judicial review of how the Broadcasting Code is applied. The regulator then withdrew several further decisions.
- GB News branded itself "Britain’s Number One" after six straight months leading news channels on average viewership, though it kept a smaller, more loyal audience and lower total reach than BBC and Sky.
