NOW UK is Sky’s no-contract streaming service under Comcast, sold as month-to-month memberships you can cancel any time. Three passes split the NOW UK catalogue: Entertainment, built on Sky Atlantic box sets; Cinema, with Sky Cinema premieres; and Sports, carrying every Sky Sports channel, the Premier League, the EFL and Formula 1. NOW UK is licensed across 2 markets, with the UK and Ireland as its home. Watching NOW UK from anywhere runs into one of the toughest geo-blocks in British streaming: step outside the country and the app cuts you off, membership or not.
A VPN is the fix. Connect to a UK server, NOW UK reads you as a local viewer, and your passes plus the Boost tiers play just like at home, in Full HD on Boost and 4K through Ultra Boost. NOW UK polices VPNs hard, so you want a dependable Surfshark with fresh UK IPs. The VPN only changes your location: you keep paying your own NOW UK membership, from ≈ $13.19, and it unlocks nothing for free.
NOW UK actively blocks VPNs. Only certain providers reliably bypass the detection.
