New on Netflix in November 2026: Keira Knightley returns in Black Doves season 2 on November 5, Jessica Chastain heads to Nashville in Heartland on November 13, and The Altruists drops all eight episodes on November 19.
Our calendar lists 22 confirmed releases, from anime to two early Christmas movies and an NFL game. As of October 19, 2026, Netflix hasn’t posted its full November list, so we’ll add titles as they’re confirmed.
One catch: the lineup differs by country. Gentle Monster with Léa Seydoux comes to Netflix in only five countries, and when you travel, the country you’re in decides what your app shows.

New Netflix series in November 2026
Four shows stand out, and two of them are brand new.
Black Doves season 2 (November 5)
Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, Sarah Lancashire and Andrew Buchan are back, with Ambika Mod and Neve Campbell joining. Helen is still passing secrets to the Black Doves while her husband gets ready to become prime minister, and she crosses paths with Sam again.
The Body (November 11)
Quinn Shephard’s eight-episode mystery starts with a dance team initiation gone wrong. Afterward, Catholic school girls begin having prophetic visions, and mass hysteria spreads through town. Kristina Bogic, Sofia Wylie and Gabby Windey star. Our tip if you want something genuinely new.
The Empress season 3 (November 12)
The German period drama ends with a six-episode final season, exclusively on Netflix worldwide. Franz comes home from the Sardinian war traumatized, and Elisabeth fights for their marriage before she finally leaves Vienna. Devrim Lingnau and Philip Froissant lead.
The Altruists (November 19)
Sam Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison wanted to rebuild the financial system and ended up accused of stealing billions. Anthony Boyle plays Bankman-Fried, Julia Garner plays Ellison. Graham Moore created the limited series, and all eight episodes arrive at once.
More series: North of North, The Hunting Wives, ChiaroScuro
North of North season 2 (Nov 5) returns to Ice Cove, the Arctic town of this Canadian comedy. In The Hunting Wives season 2 (Nov 26), Sophie and Margo start out at odds until an old secret and new enemies push them back together. ChiaroScuro (Nov 11) is an Italian crime comedy about an art expert helping the Rome police on a case tied to his past.
New Netflix movies in November 2026
Beyond the four below, look out for The Good Lawyer (Un bon avocat, Nov 9), a French thriller with Laurent Lafitte about a flashy defense attorney who overdoses in court and gets one week to save his career.
Possible Love (November 6)
Lee Chang-dong’s first film in eight years follows two couples, a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary filmmaker and her husband, whose worlds collide. Jeon Do-yeon and Sul Kyung-gu star. After a run in theaters, it lands on Netflix worldwide. Our pick of the month for one serious evening.
Heartland (November 13)
Jessica Chastain leads this thriller about Misty Jones, a former country star who goes back to Nashville to find her missing niece. Garrett Hedlund and Ross Lynch co-star, and Shana Feste wrote and directed it. Not to be confused with the Canadian series of the same name.
Steps (November 20)
Netflix Animation puts Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters in charge. Lilith steals the magic wand, breaks the fairy tale and then has to team up with Cinderella to save the kingdom. The voice cast is stacked: Ali Wong, Amanda Seyfried, Daniel Radcliffe, Peter Dinklage and Bette Midler.
The Mosquito Bowl (November 25)
Peter Berg’s World War II drama follows four college football stars who join the Marines after Pearl Harbor and play a legendary game before the invasion of Okinawa. Nicholas Galitzine and Bill Skarsgård star. It opens in select theaters on October 30 and reaches Netflix on November 25.

Anime fans get Bass X Machina (Nov 3), an animated western with steampunk and sci-fi, with Brian Tyree Henry in the voice cast, and Fool Night (Nov 26), based on Kasumi Yasuda’s manga. Our guide to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 covers another anime worth tracking.
The Devil’s Plan: Dead Again (Nov 10) brings back the Korean brain survival show with returning veterans, and Mike Tyson: Return of the Mike (Nov 3) is a one-man show with zero filter.
Packers vs. Rams on Thanksgiving Eve (November 25)
Netflix streams the Green Bay Packers at the Los Angeles Rams live from SoFi Stadium on Wednesday, November 25, the first NFL game on Thanksgiving Eve. As of October 19, Tudum lists kickoff as TBA. Spending the holiday abroad? Read the VPN section below before you fly.
What time do new Netflix releases come out?
According to the Netflix Help Center, originals are typically released globally at 12 a.m. Pacific Time. Daylight saving time ends in Europe on October 25 and in the US on November 1, so in November midnight Pacific means:
Where you are | Release time |
|---|
Los Angeles (PT) | 12 a.m. |
Chicago (CT) | 2 a.m. |
New York (ET) | 3 a.m. |
London | 8 a.m. |
Paris, Berlin (CET) | 9 a.m. |
Sydney (AEDT) | 7 p.m. |
For 13 titles in our calendar, including The Body and The Altruists, the title page lists 8 a.m. UTC, exactly that slot. For Black Doves, The Empress and Fool Night, Netflix hasn’t posted a time, so expect the usual midnight Pacific.
Titles that aren’t Netflix originals in your country appear at 12 a.m. local time instead. In Czechia, for example, The Hunting Wives isn’t labeled an original, and season 1 arrived there at local midnight.
UK vs US: why the November lineup differs by country
Netflix originals usually launch everywhere at once. Licensed titles don’t, and Netflix notes that some titles are originals in one country but not in another.
Gentle Monster is the clearest example. In this drama starring Léa Seydoux and Catherine Deneuve, concert pianist Lucy begins to suspect her husband after a morning visit from the police. Tudum says it arrives on November 18 only in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
It cuts the other way too. NBC’s St. Denis Medical isn’t on Netflix in Czechia at all. Power should arrive there on November 9 according to Netflix’s title data, although the Czech page still says it isn’t available. For the bigger picture, see how the Netflix library differs by country.

How to watch your home Netflix from abroad with a VPN
Netflix shows the lineup of the country you’re in, not the one where you pay. Fly from New York to Zurich or Tokyo and your app switches to the local lineup. A VPN from our table lets you connect to a server back home, so Netflix sees you in your home country again. You keep paying for your own subscription.
EU subscribers have it easier: under EU portability rules, Netflix keeps showing your home lineup for a limited time while you travel within the EU. The VPN matters once you leave the EU, for the UK, Switzerland, the US or Asia, or stay abroad longer.
Netflix says that over a VPN or proxy it shows only titles with global rights, so your choice matters: pick a VPN from the table that, according to StreamFix data, currently works with Netflix. Our guide to the Netflix proxy error explains the rest.
