ITV holds exclusive free to air rights for all 42 matches in the UK, so every November Test and all of Finals Weekend streams live on ITVX, ITV’s streaming service. In Wales, S4C also shows every Wales match live, Finals Weekend included, on S4C, S4C Clic and BBC iPlayer.
In Ireland, Virgin Media Television is the exclusive free to air broadcaster, with all 42 matches live. See our guide to Virgin Media’s streaming service.
In the south, it’s pay TV: Stan Sport has every game live and on demand in Australia. Nine only carries Australia’s home Tests, so November is on Stan Sport. New Zealand gets every game live on Sky Sport (see our Sky Go NZ guide); Three’s delayed free coverage is for All Blacks home matches only. South Africa watches on SuperSport.
Yes, in the right country. UK: ITV, all 42 matches free to air, plus live ITV channels in the free, ad-supported version of ITVX. Ireland: Virgin Media Television, all 42 free to air. France: TF1 is the exclusive broadcaster, TF1 and TMC are free channels and TF1+ is free with an account. Italy: Italy’s matches are free on TV8.
Australia, New Zealand and South Africa need a subscription. For the US and Canada, nothing was confirmed as of October 26, 2026.
Free TV has one limit: it only plays inside its own country. Our overview of streaming services in the UK shows what you get at home, but take ITVX to Spain or Dubai and the live stream stops. That’s where a VPN comes in.
How to watch the Nations Championship from abroad with a VPN
ITVX only works in the UK, so a Brit in the Alps, Dubai or New York can get an error message instead of Scotland v New Zealand. Irish fans abroad hit the same wall with Virgin Media.
A VPN from our table gets you back in. Connect to a UK server, open ITVX and sign in with your account, registered with a UK postcode. ITVX stays free; the VPN only changes your virtual location. Australians in Europe with Stan Sport, Kiwis with Sky Sport and South Africans with SuperSport pick a server at home and keep their own subscription.
Tested on October 26, 2026 · 7 VPNs, 7 working · residential IP from the United Kingdom · ITVX updates detection continuously, results may change.
⚠️
Streaming service blocking your VPN? Just disconnect and hop onto a different server in the same country. Stick to the ones labeled “streaming” or “optimized” because they’re literally built for this.

The final tables after November 21 set the pairings, with July and November points added together. World Rugby names the Finals referees on Monday, November 23.

How does the competition work? Table after July
Six Nations Rugby and SANZAAR created the competition, which runs every two years. Twelve teams form two groups of six, north and south, and each side plays every team from the other hemisphere once: three away Tests for the north in July, three at home in November.
This is rugby union, 15 a side. The Rugby League World Cup 2026 is a separate tournament in the 13 a side code.

France lead the north by a point from Scotland, helped by four bonus points. In the south, South Africa and New Zealand are unbeaten on 15 each.
A curiosity: Fiji played their July “home” Tests in Britain, in Cardiff, Liverpool and at Murrayfield.
England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales: the big November Tests
England v Australia (November 8) and Wales v New Zealand (November 14) are big, but three games stand out. All are on ITV and Virgin Media Television.
England v New Zealand
