The Swiss Indoors Basel singles final is on Sunday, November 1, at 9:30 a.m. ET (2:30 p.m. UK), on Sky Sports Tennis in the UK and on Tennis TV worldwide; Tennis Channel carries the event in the US.
The semifinals are on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. ET, the second one not before noon ET.
Free coverage exists only in Switzerland (SRF zwei, RTS 2, RSI La 2), and the Swiss streams are geoblocked.
Abroad, a VPN from the table lets you use your own Sky or Tennis Channel subscription from a home server.
In 1970, the first Swiss Indoors champion went home with a wristwatch. More than five decades later, Swiss Indoors Basel is an ATP 500 event worth €2.58 million, played indoors on a hard court at St. Jakobshalle, and this year’s weekend comes with Novak Djokovic chasing title No. 103.
The singles semifinals are on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. ET (2 p.m. in the UK), the second not before noon ET. The final follows on Sunday, November 1, at 9:30 a.m. ET, which is 2:30 p.m. UK time. In the US, Tennis Channel and Tennis TV carry the tournament, and in Britain it is Sky Sports Tennis and Tennis TV.
The catch is travel. Basel is in Switzerland, outside the EU, while Sky is built for the UK and Ireland and Tennis Channel for the US. If you’re in Basel for the weekend, traveling on business, or living abroad, a VPN lets you keep watching the coverage you already pay for.

Status as of October 29, 2026. Tennis Channel carries Basel this week, so check its weekend listings. Sky Sports Tennis runs a shared Swiss Indoors and Vienna block from 12:30 p.m. UK time on Saturday and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, and TSN has the semifinals at 10 a.m. ET and the final at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Tennis Channel streaming plans start at $11.99 a month. A Tennis TV subscription costs $16.99 a month or $134.99 a year in the US App Store and £11.99 or £99.99 in the UK, and prices on the website can differ.
In Britain, Sky Essential TV with Sky Sports costs £35 a month on a 24-month contract. In Canada, TSN streaming starts at $24.99 a month, and the doubles final at 7 a.m. ET sits on TSN Premium at $29.99 a month.
Can you watch ATP Basel for free?
Only in Switzerland. Swiss public TV shows the semifinals and final live with no subscription: SRF zwei in German, RTS 2 in French, and RSI La 2 in Italian. SRF zwei is on air Saturday from 2:50 p.m. to 7:05 p.m. and Sunday from 2:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time, and Play SRF adds a Center Court livestream from 1 p.m. both days.
Everywhere else, the weekend costs money. Tennis TV is paid, and we found no free official stream for viewers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or Ireland.
The Swiss streams are locked to Switzerland, too. The help page of Play SRF itself says some programs cannot be watched outside the country, even on a short trip abroad. A British or American fan in Basel hits the same wall in reverse, which is where a VPN helps.
How to watch ATP tennis from abroad with a VPN
Switzerland is not in the EU, and the UK left it with Brexit, so EU rules that let some subscriptions travel do not cover a weekend in Basel. Sky’s streaming is tied to the UK and Ireland and Tennis Channel’s to the US, and outside them the app may refuse to play. Our page on UK streaming services abroad covers the rest of your apps.
A VPN gives your device a virtual location back home, so Sky Sports Tennis or Tennis Channel sees the same location as at home. It does not replace the subscription, which you keep paying as usual.

Streaming service blocking your VPN? Just disconnect and hop onto a different server in the same country. Stick to the ones labeled “streaming” or “optimized” because they’re literally built for this.
The order in the table is based on StreamFix data on which VPNs currently work with Sky Sports. Our VPN ranking methodology explains how it is built.
Five steps before Saturday’s first serve
Pick a VPN from the table and install it on your phone, laptop, or TV.
Connect to a server in your home country: the UK for Sky, the US for Tennis Channel.
Open Sky Go or the Tennis Channel app and sign in with your own account.
Test the stream on Friday during the quarterfinals, so Saturday morning holds no surprises.
Start the first semifinal at 10 a.m. ET or 2 p.m. UK time, and switch servers if the picture stalls.
The organizer’s order of play is set, subject to change without notice. Times are US Eastern and Pacific; Basel is one hour ahead of the UK.

Why does the final start earlier in the US than Saturday’s semifinal, when it begins later in Basel? US clocks fall back at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, so Saturday runs on EDT and Sunday on EST. In the UK it is simpler: 2 p.m. and not before 4 p.m. on Saturday, then the doubles final at noon and the singles final at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday (1:30 a.m. Monday in Sydney).
Where the draw stands after Thursday
As of Thursday night, October 29, the quarterfinals are set for Friday. Jiri Lehecka plays the winner of Ben Shelton vs. Jerome Kym, Nuno Borges meets the winner of Djokovic vs. Jan-Lennard Struff, Holger Rune faces Valentin Vacherot, and Taylor Fritz takes on Arthur Fils.
On Saturday, the two survivors of the top half meet in one semifinal. The Rune vs. Vacherot winner plays the Fritz vs. Fils winner in the other.
Two finals on one Sunday
Vienna’s Erste Bank Open, the week’s other ATP 500, plays its singles final at 8 a.m. ET (1 p.m. UK) on Sunday, per the ATP’s official ticketing schedule. Basel starts 90 minutes later, so a long match in Vienna can overlap. Sky Sports Tennis lists both events in one block and Tennis TV carries the whole ATP Tour, so a second screen may be the simplest plan. Following the women’s tour too? Here is how to watch the WTA Finals 2026.

Djokovic, Shelton, and Fritz: the weekend storylines
The finalists are still unknown, but the storylines are already in place. Here is what to follow as of Thursday night.
Djokovic and No. 103. The 39-year-old wild card, seeded fourth, is back in Basel for the first time in 15 years. A title would be his 103rd, level with Roger Federer, and he arrived ranked 11th, needing a top-nine finish to reach the ATP Finals in Turin.
Shelton’s serve. The top seed hit 44 aces to knock out Aleksandar Kovacevic in the first round. On Thursday night he played Swiss wild card Jerome Kym for a shot at Lehecka.
Fritz vs. Fils. No. 6 Taylor Fritz beat Denis Shapovalov and No. 2 Arthur Fils beat Alex Michelsen, so Friday brings a meeting of two top-six seeds. Our pick: Fritz edges it and plays on Saturday.
Lehecka ended an era. On Tuesday, the No. 8 seed beat Stan Wawrinka in straight sets in the last match of his career, before 9,200 fans on Center Court. Wawrinka leaves with three Grand Slam titles and 985 ATP Tour matches.
Seeds already gone. Vacherot knocked out No. 3 Rafael Jodar, Borges beat No. 9 Casper Ruud, and Rune beat No. 10 Hubert Hurkacz. Defending champion Joao Fonseca is not in this year’s draw.

The Swiss Indoors began in 1970 in its own air hall, and the winner’s prize was a wristwatch. St. Jakobshalle first hosted it in 1975, Bjorn Borg played and won it on his first visit in 1977, and Ivan Lendl beat Borg in the 1980 final.
In 2006, former ballboy Roger Federer won his home event, and in 2008 he became the first player to win it three years in a row. He finished with ten singles titles. In 2009, Djokovic beat him in a final billed as No. 1 against No. 3. Jim Courier won twice for the US and Tim Henman twice for Britain.
Who has won the most titles
Federer’s ten titles are more than three times the next-best total, Stefan Edberg’s three. Six more players have won it twice.

Swiss Indoors stream not working? Try this
Check the server country: Sky needs a UK server and Tennis Channel a US one.
Switch to another server in the same country if the stream buffers or shows a location error.
Clear the app cache or open the website in a private window, then sign in again.
Use your own subscription and account. A VPN changes your location, not what your plan includes.
The weekend is short: two semifinals on Saturday and the final on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET. If you are watching from outside the US or UK, set up a VPN for streaming sports on Friday, and you can keep watching your usual coverage from a hotel room in Basel.
