Free: the official Players’ Show streams every race on BreedersCup.com, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
14 Grade 1 races at Keeneland, Friday and Saturday, with more than $34 million in purses and awards.
Peacock works only inside the US; abroad, a VPN with a US server gets you back to your subscription.
The Classic, the final race of the 43rd Breeders’ Cup World Championships, is worth $7 million. Here’s how to watch the Breeders’ Cup 2026 on Friday and Saturday. Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky, hosts on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, 2026, with 14 Grade 1 races and more than $34 million in purses and awards. The Classic goes off at 6:16 p.m. ET (3:16 p.m. PT, 10:16 p.m. GMT).

The catch: Peacock only works inside the US.

Beyond the broadcasters in the table, there’s the free official Players’ Show stream; the organizer lists no territorial restrictions. On Saturday, HBA Media’s international show, BC75, covers the Turf and the Classic from 9:15 to 10:30 p.m. GMT (5:15 to 6:30 p.m. ET).
US coverage runs 10 1/2 hours over the two days. On Friday, it’s 1 to 6 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock. On Saturday, USA Network and Peacock have 1 to 3:30 p.m. ET, then NBC and Peacock take over from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. ET. FanDuel TV also shows the Classic, Turf, Distaff, Mile, and Sprint.
In the UK, ITV is free-to-air (our ITVX guide covers its streaming app), but ITV’s 2026 channel and air times weren’t confirmed as of October 29. Sky Sports Racing and Racing TV are pay channels. CBC is new in Canada this year (our CBC Gem guide covers the network’s app), and Channel 7 is new in Australia (see 7plus).
Is there a free Breeders’ Cup live stream?
Yes.
FanDuel TV’s Players’ Show covers every championship and undercard race live on both days, and the organizer puts it on BreedersCup.com, the official Breeders’ Cup app, and its YouTube, Facebook, and X channels. At BreedersCup.com/Live, a multi-cast player runs more than 12 live streams, including the Players’ Show, Jockey Cam, Paddock Cam, Iso Cam, and Drone Cam. The organizer doesn’t list any territorial restrictions for these streams. On a smart TV, the YouTube app puts it on the big screen.
What it isn’t: the NBC broadcast. The Players’ Show is told from a horseplayer’s angle; NBC’s own broadcast stays on NBC, USA Network, and Peacock.
In the UK, ITV is free-to-air. In the US, NBC is a regular broadcast network, so an antenna picks up the Classic; Peacock is a paid service, and our overview of streaming services in the US compares it with the rest. Want NBC’s coverage while you’re outside the US? That’s where a VPN comes in.
Watching Peacock from abroad with a VPN
Peacock is blunt about it. US customers’ devices must be physically located in the US to stream, and everyone else gets told Peacock isn’t available in their territory. When we opened peacocktv.com from the Czech Republic on October 29, it redirected to an “Unavailable In Your Region” page.
That locks out Americans traveling abroad and expats who still pay for Peacock back home. A VPN from our table routes you through a US server, so Peacock sees a US connection and plays the race as it would at home. You pay for your own Peacock subscription as usual; the VPN only changes your virtual location.
Tested on October 26, 2026 · 7 VPNs, 7 working · residential IP from the United States · Peacock updates detection continuously, results may change.
⚠️
Streaming service blocking your VPN? Just disconnect and hop onto a different server in the same country. Stick to the ones labeled “streaming” or “optimized” because they’re literally built for this.
Post times from the organizer’s final race order, in ET with GMT in parentheses. US clocks stay on daylight time this weekend and fall back on Sunday, November 1.

Forever Young, from Japan, is the defending champion and the morning-line favorite. Last year he became the first Japanese horse to win the Classic; now he’s trying to become only the second two-time winner, after Tiznow in 2000 and 2001.
Sovereignty is the reigning Horse of the Year. He won the 2025 Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes, then missed last year’s Classic with a fever in race week.
This year’s classics went elsewhere. Golden Tempo won the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes, and Napoleon Solo took the Preakness. Knightsbridge, Sovereignty’s stablemate with trainer Bill Mott and owner Godolphin, won the Pacific Classic by 6 1/4 lengths.
Our view, not a betting tip: watch Forever Young and Sovereignty. One is chasing history, the other gets the Classic start he lost a year ago.
Turf, Mile, and Distaff: the other big Saturday races
Turf (5:36 p.m. ET): 14 runners plus two also-eligibles. Morning-line favorite Diamond Necklace (Aidan O’Brien, Christophe Soumillon) meets Arc runner-up Bay City Roller (Oisin Murphy) and Irish Derby winner Benvenuto Cellini (Ryan Moore). Ethical Diamond (Willie Mullins) defends. Test Score was scratched Wednesday. O’Brien has won the Turf seven times.
Mile (4:20 p.m. ET): defending champion Notable Speech (Charlie Appleby, William Buick) is the morning-line favorite. Zulu Kingdom was scratched, so 13 go to post.
Distaff (4:58 p.m. ET): Nitrogen (Mark Casse, Jose Ortiz) is the morning-line favorite, with Fully Subscribed (Chad Brown, Flavien Prat) next. Scottish Lassie was scratched, leaving eight.
Racing terms for first-time viewers
Dirt and turf: dirt is the main track; turf is grass. The Classic, Distaff, Sprint, and Dirt Mile run on dirt; the Turf, Mile, and Turf Sprint on grass.
Furlong: an eighth of a mile. The sprints run 5 1/2 to 7 furlongs, the Classic 1 1/4 miles.
Grade 1: the top level of stakes races. All 14 championship races are Grade 1.
Post position: the horse’s stall in the starting gate, drawn in advance.
Scratch: a horse withdrawn after the draw.
Also-eligible: a backup horse that gets a spot only if another runner scratches.
Morning line: the track’s early odds estimate.
Juvenile: a 2-year-old. Friday’s five championships are all juvenile races.
Distances on Saturday range from the 5 1/2 furlong Turf Sprint to the 1 1/2 mile Turf:
The Turf, the longest of them, draws the top grass horses from Europe and North America every year.
Breeders’ Cup stream not working? What to do
Check the server country. Peacock needs a US server.
Switch servers. Still blocked? Try another US location.

Check your account. You need your own active Peacock plan. A VPN changes your location, not your subscription; here’s what a VPN for streaming does.
Test early. Run your setup before Saturday’s first championship race at 1:10 p.m. ET.
