- The nationwide magazine ÖsterreichBlick, co-produced within R9, won the Romy television award. It was the first major honour for the joint output of the nine regional stations.
- On behalf of the R9 group the station helped build a nationwide HbbTV portal. Viewers can now open every regional archive via the red button on the R9 Österreich HD channel.
- The Salzburg broadcaster marked fifteen years on screen with a big event at Brandboxx Salzburg under the motto RTS inspiriert & verbindet. Clients, partners and longtime collaborators gathered.
- The schedule was reshuffled: the long-running Kultur Format and part of the Salzburg Magazin bade farewell to viewers. The move cleared room for fresh weekly shows.
