How to watch MotoGP Malaysia 2026 depends on where you are. The PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia runs from Friday, October 30, to Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit, about 50 km south of Kuala Lumpur. In the UK, TNT Sports has MotoGP, streaming on HBO Max. In the US, FS1 shows the Sprint and FS2 the main race, which starts at 2 a.m. ET on Sunday, or 7:00 in the UK.
This is round 19 of 22, and the title fight is tight: Marc Marquez leads Jorge Martin by just 10 points before Malaysia. Qatar, Portugal and Valencia follow.
One catch for fans on the road: streaming apps check where you connect from, so the service you pay for at home may not load abroad. Here’s how to fix that.

In the US, the Fox Sports MotoGP schedule puts the Sprint on FS1 on Saturday, October 31, and the MotoGP race on FS2 on Sunday, November 1. Moto2 and Moto3 aren’t in Fox’s listing. No cable? Fox One streams FS1 and FS2 for $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year, with a three-day free trial.
In the UK, TNT Sports carries MotoGP, and HBO Max is now its streaming home. The TNT Sports Saver plan costs £25.99 a month for 12 months, then £30.99; without a contract, it’s £30.99 a month. MotoGP also lists Quest as a UK broadcaster, but its Malaysia coverage hasn’t been announced (as of October 28, 2026).
Canadian fans get MotoGP on Sportsnet. Sportsnet+ lists the Malaysia Sprint among its upcoming streams, and it only works inside Canada. In Australia, Kayo Sports lists practice, qualifying and the Sprint live, and Network 10 is also on MotoGP’s list. Its 10 Play app is blocked outside Australia.
Short answer: we found no verified free live broadcast in the US, UK, Canada or Australia as of October 28, 2026. The closest thing is Fox One’s three-day free trial in the US.
Free live MotoGP does exist in parts of Europe. ServusTV shows Malaysia live and free in Austria, the Swiss public channels RTS 2 and RSI La 2 carry the Sprint and the race, and RTBF Auvio, the free RTBF platform, streams the whole weekend in Belgium. Those are local services for local viewers.
The series also runs its own paid service: MotoGP VideoPass offers live streams of the 2026 Sprints and Grands Prix, with monthly and yearly options.
For most English-speaking fans, the answer is the subscription they already have. And that subscription checks where you are.
How to watch MotoGP from abroad with a VPN
Streaming services read your IP address before they play a second of racing. Open HBO Max from a hotel in Bangkok or Fox One on a work trip to Dubai, and you may get an error message instead of the Sprint.
Sportsnet’s FAQ puts it plainly: if you’re traveling abroad, you won’t be able to stream its channels. 10 Play shows an error page outside Australia. The same goes for fans who live abroad for months and still pay for a service back home.
A VPN from our table gets you back in. Connect to a server in your home country, open your usual app and sign in. You keep paying for your own subscription; the VPN only changes your virtual location.

Watch the clock in the US. Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, in the middle of race night. The MotoGP race starts at 2 a.m. ET after the clocks go back, which is midnight on the West Coast, where the change hasn’t happened yet. Toronto and Montreal follow Eastern Time. These are official start times; coverage usually begins earlier.
Marc Marquez (Ducati) leads with 365 points and six wins. Jorge Martin (Aprilia) is 10 points back on 355. Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) is third on 315 with five wins, ahead of Pedro Acosta (KTM) on 263, Ai Ogura (Trackhouse) on 259 and Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46) on 252.
Four weekends remain, this one included, and each is worth up to 37 points: 12 for the Sprint and 25 for the race. That leaves 148 points on the table, so the title can’t be decided in Malaysia.
Moto2 is even closer. Manuel Gonzalez leads Izan Guevara 265.5 to 260, a gap of 5.5 points, with Ivan Ortola third on 191.5. In Moto3, Maximo Quiles (Aspar) has 351 points and 10 wins, 134 clear of David Almansa. With only 100 points left, the title is mathematically his.
Our picks for the weekend
This is editorial opinion, not betting advice. Marquez is our favorite: he won the last Sprint at Phillip Island and controls the gap. Martin is the biggest threat, because one strong weekend flips the order. Our dark horse is Alex Marquez, who won the main race here last year.

Two Spaniards, two manufacturers, 10 points. Marquez carries Ducati’s hopes with six wins this season. Martin leads the Aprilia charge, with Bezzecchi, also on an Aprilia, a further 40 points back in third.
Every Sprint point matters now. If Martin outscores Marquez by more than 10 points in Malaysia, he leaves Sepang as the championship leader. If Marquez extends the gap, Martin heads to Qatar with more ground to make up.
Jack Miller, Senna Agius and Joe Roberts
Australian Jack Miller is 19th in MotoGP with 31 points on the Pramac Yamaha. In Moto2, fellow Australian Senna Agius is sixth on 165 points, and American Joe Roberts is 16th with 44. Fans in Sydney get the Moto2 race at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday; in New York, it’s 1:15 a.m. ET.
What’s next: Qatar, Portugal and Valencia
After Malaysia, three weekends decide the 2026 titles:
Qatar (Lusail): Friday, November 6, to Sunday, November 8
Portugal (Algarve, Portimão): Friday, November 20, to Sunday, November 22
Valencia (Circuit Ricardo Tormo): Friday, November 27, to Sunday, November 29, the season finale
That’s 111 points still available after Sepang.
Track facts and last year’s winners
The circuit is 5,543 m (5.54 km) long, with 15 corners, 5 left and 10 right, and a 920 m longest straight.
It held its first Grand Prix in April 1999. Riders face intense heat and humidity, MotoGP notes.
In 2025, Francesco Bagnaia won the Sprint. Alex Marquez won the main race ahead of Pedro Acosta and Joan Mir.
Last weekend in Australia, Marc Marquez won the Sprint ahead of Alex Marquez and Di Giannantonio. The official results list the Sunday races in all three classes as canceled.
MotoGP stream not working? What to do
Check the server country. Connect to a server in the country of your service, such as the UK for TNT Sports or the US for Fox One.
Switch servers. Still blocked? Pick another server in the same country.
Clear the cache. Delete cookies or open a private window, then sign in again.
Check your account. A VPN doesn’t replace a paid plan. You still need your own active subscription.
Test early. Try your setup during Friday practice, not five minutes before the Sprint.
Ready for Saturday’s Sprint?
Away from home this weekend? Set up a VPN before Friday, connect to a server at home and watch the service you already pay for. This VPN tops our TNT Sports table right now:
