The service dates back to May 2019, when Tata Sky, now Tata Play, put apps like Hotstar and Sun NXT on a Fire TV Stick for its satellite subscribers. Today the aggregator bundles more than 30 apps, from JioHotstar and ZEE5 to FanCode, under one login and one bill. The catch is that Tata Play Binge is not available in the US. The help center settles it in a single line: “No, Binge subscription does not work out of India.”
Plans are priced in rupees. Flexi Smart costs ₹199 per month, while Infinity, with every app on the list, runs ₹3,999 per year. You pay with an Indian card, UPI or net banking, and cards issued abroad aren’t accepted. So this page is really for people who already subscribe in India. A VPN such as Surfshark, connected to a server in India, gives your device an Indian IP address. That doesn’t change your bill, though. You still pay the same price for your plan.

Tata Play Binge is an Indian aggregator that combines more than 30 streaming apps into one, with a single login and subscription. It’s run by Tata Play Limited, a Tata Group joint venture based in Mumbai. The service launched in 2019 as Tata Sky Binge, was renamed in 2022, and opened to everyone that same year, not just Tata Play satellite TV customers. According to its terms, it doesn’t own the content itself and instead gives access to apps such as JioHotstar, ZEE5, Apple TV, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+ and ShemarooMe. Of the three main plans, Flexi Smart and Flexi Max include a selection of apps, while Infinity covers the full list. The operator says you can watch on Android and iOS phones, iPads, tataplaybinge.com, Android TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs, and the Amazon Fire TV Stick. The service works only in India.
