How to Watch TA3 outside Slovakia: VPN Guide 2026
When C.E.N. signed Slovakia’s first private news channel on air back in 2001, it carved out a niche that the public broadcaster STVR had never quite filled: rolling, 24-hour coverage of Bratislava politics and Central European affairs. Watching TA3 outside Slovakia runs into one snag, though. The live stream on ta3.com is built for the Slovak market, so the player tends to stall or refuse to load once it spots an IP address outside Slovakia. Flagship shows like Téma dňa and the Sunday debate V politike air live and lose their punch on delay.
The fix is quick. Connect through NordVPN to a server in Slovakia, pick up a local IP, and the portal lets you in as if you were in Slovakia. TA3 is free and ad-funded, so there is no paywall or checkout to wrangle, just a clean connection. The stream tops out at 720p, and the rolling seven-day archive is yours to browse on phone, laptop or smart TV.

Who’s behind the service?
What is TA3
TA3 is the Slovak news channel that has broadcast around the clock since September 2001. It is run by the licensed operator C.E.N. s.r.o., owned since 2022 by Blueberg Media, the group of media businessman Michal Voráček, which in 2025 also acquired the publisher of the Pravda daily and is merging both brands into a single media ecosystem. The ta3.com portal offers the live stream, the prime-time politics talk Téma dňa, current-affairs magazines, economic summaries and live press-conference coverage. Streaming is free and funded through advertising. For anyone already following Czech affairs, TA3 adds a Slovak take on Central European politics.

- The live stream on ta3.com/live is completely free and needs no account, so just open it in a browser instead of hunting for an app.
- TA3's live feed is usually geo-blocked outside Slovakia, so connect through NordVPN on a Slovak server to keep watching the news while you travel.
- Skip the broadcast schedule and use the free archive on ta3.com to replay the Sunday V politike debate or the Téma dňa magazine whenever you want.
- Prefer audio? The Téma dňa and V politike podcasts carry the full episodes, ideal for commuting without staring at a screen.
- For uncut press conferences and parliament sessions, open the separate live NR SR stream rather than the main news channel.
