How to Watch Markiza Doma outside Slovakia: VPN Guide 2026
Female prime time has defined Doma from day one: telenovelas, romantic dramas and family series fill this Slovak channel’s schedule from the afternoon into the evening and hold a loyal audience. The catch for anyone in the US is simple: the live stream and the on-demand archive both live on markiza.sk, and both are geo-locked to Slovakia. Trying to watch Doma in the US from an American IP address only returns a content-unavailable notice.
A VPN fixes that by swapping your virtual location. Connect through a Slovak server with NordVPN and the player reads a Bratislava IP, so the schedule unlocks exactly as it does back home. The markiza.sk stream is free with ads after a quick sign-up; for an uninterrupted run of telenovelas like Divoký anjel or the Turkish hit Leyla, you watch through the paid Voyo subscription that bundles Markíza’s live channels. Picture tops out at 1080p across browser, mobile and TV.

What is Doma
Doma is the women’s entertainment channel of Slovakia’s Markíza group, on air since 2009 as its first themed station. The schedule is built mainly on Latin American and Turkish telenovelas, Indian and European series, romantic dramas and lifestyle shows. The live stream is available in Slovakia only.

Company and history
- On 31 August 2009, Markíza launched Doma as its very first themed channel and Slovakia’s first station aimed squarely at a female audience.
- On 20 August 2012, the group added the male-skewing Dajto, while Doma broadened from a strictly female niche toward a wider audience built on telenovelas and lifestyle.
- On 13 October 2020, Petr Kellner’s PPF Group completed its takeover of CME, becoming the owner of Markíza and, with it, Doma.
- On 18 July 2022, the cult Argentine telenovela Divoký anjel with Natalia Oreiro returned to Doma after almost a decade and immediately drew strong ratings.
- On 15 July 2024, the sister channel Markíza Klasik went live, expanding the family alongside Doma with vintage titles for older viewers.
- On 2 May 2025, Doma aired Divoký anjel for a second run; the repeat ran until 6 November 2025 and again broke afternoon ratings records.
- On 5 January 2026, Doma premiered the fresh Turkish telenovela Leyla in prime time, just six months after its finale aired in Turkey.

- Use the 7-day free Voyo trial on your first sign-up, but note it skips live channels like Doma and the Voyo Originals.
- One Voyo profile covers up to five devices and two simultaneous streams, so you can watch Doma on the TV while someone streams on a phone.
- Doma's live stream is locked to Slovakia, so connect through NordVPN on a Slovak server to keep watching while you travel abroad.
