How to Watch STVR Jednotka outside Slovakia: VPN Guide 2026
Slovakia’s flagship public channel runs the cooking hit Pečie celé Slovensko, the comedy quiz Milujem Slovensko, nightly news and homegrown drama, all funded from the state budget as a public service and streamed for free on stvr.sk. Watching STVR Jednotka outside Slovakia is the catch: the moment you log in from London, Vienna or New York, the live channel and the catch-up archive simply refuse to load. The broadcaster holds rights cleared for Slovak territory only, so the player checks your IP and shuts out anyone connecting from another country.
The fix takes two minutes. NordVPN hands you a Slovak IP address, so the stvr.sk player believes you are sitting in Bratislava and unlocks the full schedule in 1080p. It works on a laptop, a phone and on smart-TV apps alike, no router tweaks required. Below we walk you through every step, from picking a Slovak server to hitting play, in plain language so anyone can follow along.
