- O2 Slovakia launched its new internet TV, O2 TV, on the SmartLabs cloud platform. It arrived with a modern interface, better stability and playback straight on a smart TV without a set-top box.
- The operator broadened the lineup with new stations. The Mini tier gained three channels, Prima SK, Prima COOL SK and CNN Prima News, while the full package added Arena Sport 1 and 2 plus the food channel TV Paprika.
- O2 Slovakia's ownership settled under the e& PPF Telecom Group joint venture, with the Emirati firm e& holding the majority and the PPF group the rest. O2 TV now sits within a stronger telecoms group.
- The Czech sister service O2 TV merged with the Voyo streaming platform into the OnePlay brand. The Slovak O2 TV stayed separate and kept its original name, so the two services should not be confused.
- O2 added the Max streaming service as a perk on its higher mobile plans. Subscribers gained access to HBO films and series alongside the live channels and catch-up of O2 TV.
- The Max streaming service was renamed back to HBO Max in Slovakia. The film and series library stayed unchanged; only the name and logo shifted, which O2 uses to promote its higher plans.
- O2 Slovakia announced a deal to buy UPC Broadband Slovakia for 95 million euros. The acquisition strengthens the operator on the fixed-line market, with both sides expecting the close in the first half of 2026.
