The terms of use acknowledge that the service may be accessed from various locations and leave the responsibility with you. They also warn that content availability may depend on your geographical location and that not all content is offered to all viewers. The operator doesn’t say whether, or how, the lineup shifts abroad. With ExpressVPN or another VPN on a US server, your virtual location is back in the US, where you pay.
They don’t mention them by name: neither “VPN” nor “proxy” appears anywhere in the terms. Among prohibited activities, though, they list getting around content protection or access control measures, “including geo-filtering mechanisms.” Whether you use a VPN is your decision. Either way, you pay for your own subscription, and a VPN only changes your virtual location.
Possibly through your IP address. The KLiKK terms of use say the operator may log it to ascertain and verify your geographical location. In a hotel abroad, that’s the address of the local network. Connect ExpressVPN to a US server before opening the app and you’ll get a US IP address, so your virtual location matches the country of your subscription.
Bengali. The KLiKK website comes in English and Bengali, and the operator’s FAQ says most content has subtitles, including English ones for movies, originals, and more. Expect English subtitles on most titles rather than on every single one. If a particular show matters to you, check it before a long flight.

Yes, in the iOS and Android apps only. KLiKK’s terms of use limit downloads for offline viewing to those apps, and the FAQ confirms that content can’t be downloaded from the website. Grab a few episodes on your home Wi-Fi before you leave, and you’ll have something to watch when the plane has no connection.
