Trina Vega is back at Hollywood Arts, only this time she’s the one standing at the front of the classroom. Hollywood Arts, the Victorious spinoff starring Daniella Monet, premieres on Netflix on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 3 a.m. ET. That’s midnight on the West Coast and 8 a.m. in London. So if you’re wondering where to watch Hollywood Arts, the answer for launch day is simple: Netflix, and only Netflix.
Below you’ll find the release time for your city, how many episodes arrive at once and who’s in the cast (plus who isn’t). There’s also a part most guides skip: the original Victorious streams on different services, with a different number of seasons, depending on the country you’re in. If you plan to rewatch it before Thursday, that’s worth knowing.
Hollywood Arts release date and time: where to watch
Netflix drops its new series at one moment worldwide, so nobody gets it a day early. Here’s when the first episodes unlock where you are.
Where you are | When it lands on Netflix |
|---|
New York (ET) | 3 a.m., Thursday, October 15 |
Los Angeles (PT) | Midnight, Thursday, October 15 (late Wednesday night) |
Toronto (ET) | 3 a.m., Thursday, October 15 |
London | 8 a.m., Thursday, October 15 |
Dublin | 8 a.m., Thursday, October 15 |
Sydney (AEDT) | 6 p.m., Thursday, October 15 |
The time comes from Netflix’s own title page for the show, which lists the start as 7:00 UTC on October 15. Netflix launches new series at the same moment everywhere, and Deadline calls this a global premiere.
There’s no cable airing or second streaming option at launch. The show was developed at Nickelodeon and is produced by Paramount Television Studios, but Netflix licensed it and gets the first window. Netflix files it under comedy, music and kids and family, which tells you the tone: this one is made for the family couch. If you’re not subscribed yet, our Netflix streaming guide shows where the service is available.
How many episodes come out on October 15?
Netflix ordered 26 episodes, and October 15 brings the first half of them. The second half follows later; no date has been announced (as of October 9, 2026). Netflix hasn’t published the exact episode count for part one, so treat any specific number floating around online as unofficial until Netflix confirms it.
The opener runs long. According to Teen Vogue, the two-part pilot has been stitched together into a single episode of about 50 minutes, which makes it a proper reunion-sized premiere. After that, the show settles into its format: Hollywood Arts is a multi-camera sitcom, shot in Vancouver.
Netflix won’t be its only home forever. After its first run on Netflix, the show is set to air on Nickelodeon and stream on Paramount+ as well. Neither date has been announced, so for now Netflix is the one place to watch it.
What is the Victorious spinoff about?
Trina Vega, Tori’s older sister, never landed the acting career she was so sure was coming. Out of options, she goes back to her old high school, Hollywood Arts, as a substitute teacher with no teaching qualifications whatsoever. Her new students are ambitious and talented, and at first they clash with her. Then, somewhere along the way, Trina ends up inspiring them, which nobody saw coming.
It’s a clever flip for longtime fans. In Victorious, Trina walked those same halls as a student. Now she finally gets the lead role, just not the one she pictured.
Behind the camera, Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin are the showrunners and writers, and Jonathan Judge directed the pilot. Daniella Monet is also an executive producer. One name you won’t see in the credits: Dan Schneider, who created Victorious, is not involved in the new series, as Variety and Teen Vogue have both reported.
Who’s in the cast, and who’s back from Victorious
Daniella Monet leads as Trina. Joining her in the main cast are Alyssa Miles, Erika Swayze, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson and Martin Kamm, the new generation the show is built around.
Three familiar faces return, according to Netflix Tudum. Yvette Nicole Brown is back as Principal Helen Dubois in a recurring role. Eric Lange guest stars as acting teacher Erwin Sikowitz. Matt Bennett plays Robbie Shapiro, now a Hollywood Arts alum and still a ventriloquist. The trailer also shows guest appearances from Kira Kosarin, Lexi Rivera, Sofie Dossi and Taylen Biggs.
Is Victoria Justice coming back as Tori?
Not as far as anyone has announced. When Netflix picked up the show in October 2025, TVLine reported that Victoria Justice wasn’t involved. Returns for Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, Avan Jogia and Leon Thomas III haven’t been announced either. There is one tease: showrunner Samantha Martin told Teen Vogue that season one includes “a really satisfying arc with a member of the original cast.” She didn’t say who.
Where to stream Victorious before the premiere
Victorious ran on Nickelodeon for four seasons, from 2010 to 2013. If you want Trina’s backstory fresh in your head, this is where the original streams in the main English-speaking markets.
Country | Where Victorious streams |
|---|
United States | Netflix (seasons 1 to 3 only, per Deadline) and Paramount+ |
United Kingdom | Netflix and Paramount+ |
Canada | Netflix and Paramount+ |
Australia | Netflix and Paramount+ |
Ireland | Netflix and Paramount+ |

The catch is that Netflix doesn’t carry the same Victorious everywhere. US subscribers only get seasons 1 to 3. Czech Netflix lists 20 episodes with a Czech dub, while Slovak Netflix doesn’t have the show at all, according to JustWatch. Licensing is why the Netflix library by country varies so much, and it’s why your own account may show a shorter run than you remember.
That’s where a VPN from our table comes in. Connect to a server in another country and Netflix shows you that country’s library, so you can check which seasons it carries and press play there, or open Paramount+ in one of the countries above. It works the same way if you’re traveling somewhere that doesn’t carry the show. You keep paying for your own subscription; the VPN only changes your virtual location. The ranking below is based on StreamFix data, and our VPN rating methodology explains how the scores are put together.
Trailer, teaser and the 16-song soundtrack
Netflix released the official teaser on August 17, 2026, and the full trailer followed on September 15, 2026, both on Netflix’s YouTube channel.
The music gets its own release, too. The soundtrack features 16 original songs from the series and comes out on October 15, 2026, the same day as the show, via Republic Records. The theme song is called “Here To Stay,” a fitting title for a character who refuses to leave the spotlight.
Is there a Hollywood Arts season 2?
Not officially. The 26-episode order is arriving in two halves, and the second half is the next thing on the calendar, without a date so far. Netflix hasn’t announced a second season (as of October 9, 2026).
Your plan for Thursday, October 15
Set an alarm for 3 a.m. ET, or simply catch it with breakfast in London and Dublin and after work in Sydney. Netflix is the only place to watch at launch. Before then, rewatch Victorious on Netflix or Paramount+, depending on what your country carries. If your Netflix stops at season 3, or you’re on the road somewhere without the show, connect through a VPN from our table and stream with your own subscription.
