- In March 2014, Win Sports launched Win Sports Online, the first paid way to stream the channel over the internet beyond Colombia's cable footprint.
- In January 2020, the premium channel Win Sports+ launched and took live Liga BetPlay with it. Colombian professional football left free-to-air television and moved behind a paywall.
- In spring 2024, reports surfaced that Dimayor was weighing pulling the rights and backing a rival channel. Win Sports' future clouded over and a long negotiation began.
- On 17 July 2024, Win Sports+ was renamed Win+ Fútbol. The new name underlined a pure football channel carrying every round of Liga BetPlay Dimayor.
- In early 2025, the Win Sports Online app was reborn as Win Play with tiered plans. Fans could pick anything from the cheap Win Lite entry to the full Estándar bundle.
- In August 2025, the Plan Familiar arrived, letting Win Play run on two screens at once. A household could share a single account and watch football on two devices together.
- In March 2026, Win Sports reached an unofficial deal with Dimayor to renew the rights for 91 million dollars a year. For the first time the contract also covers international broadcast rights.
- In July 2026, however, management admitted the 2027 season rights were not yet secured, deferring talks with a blunt "after the World Cup we'll talk." A question mark still hangs over Win Sports.
