- Uruguayans Francisco Casal, Nelson Gutiérrez, and former international Enzo Francescoli launched the Spanish-language GOL TV soccer channel on February 1, 2003, based in Florida. It became the foundation of the brand that Uruguay’s Tenfield would expand across Latin America.
- Tenfield introduced the GOLTV Play streaming service for iOS and Android. For the first time fans could follow South American football without cable, straight from a phone or a browser.
- The service secured exclusive Liga Portugal rights in English and Spanish for the 2023 to 2026 seasons. The Portuguese top flight became one of the few non-South-American leagues in its lineup.
