How to Watch Claro Sports outside the US: VPN Guide 2026
Claro Sports is the sports arm of Carlos Slim’s América Móvil, and since December 2025 it holds the prize every broadcaster wanted: exclusive Olympic rights across Latin America through 2032. The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, Los Angeles 2028, the French Alps 2030 and Brisbane 2032 all run through this platform, alongside the UEFA Europa League and Conference League knockout rounds for Mexico and Central America plus home-grown Liga MX. The catch is that Claro Sports simply will not load in the US, because the signal is fenced to 17 Latin American countries and any outside IP gets turned away on sight.
The workaround takes a minute. Connect through NordVPN to a server in Mexico, and the website and app read you as a viewer inside the region, unlocking every feed in crisp 1080p. No sideloaded apps, no extra accounts, just a change of location that puts the Olympics back on your screen.

Who’s behind the service?
What is Claro Sports
Claro Sports is the Spanish-language sports streaming brand of Carlos Slim’s América Móvil group, and it should not be confused with Claro video, the general movie and series service. It runs through its website, app, YouTube and smart-TV apps, with exclusive Latin American Olympic rights as its centrepiece, from the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games through Brisbane 2032. Alongside the Olympics it carries the UEFA Europa League and Conference League across Mexico and Central America, plus Liga MX and Roland Garros. Most of it is free, and access is tied to Latin America.
Company and history
- América Móvil launched Claro Sports as a Mexico-made sports channel. In Mexico it replaced the earlier Viva Sports feed and aimed at the wider Latin American market from day one.
- For the Tokyo Games the channel launched Apple TV and Android TV apps with four round-the-clock feeds and offered the event free on the Marca Claro YouTube account across seventeen Latin American countries.
- Via a deal with the International Olympic Committee, América Móvil secured exclusive Latin American Olympic rights for Claro Sports through 2032: Milano Cortina, Los Angeles, the Alps and Brisbane.
- Olympic debut: Claro Sports began airing the Milano Cortina Winter Games for Mexico and sixteen more countries, with over 400 hours of production and access to more than 180 events.
- For the first time, the YouTube broadcasts became paid for viewers in South and Central America, while staying free in Mexico, shifting part of the region to a membership model for the Games.
- The rights portfolio expanded into European football: Claro Sports announced it would carry the UEFA Europa League and Conference League knockout rounds for Mexico and Central America through the 2026/27 season.

- Do not want the app? The same live coverage runs free on the official Claro Sports YouTube channel and on its FAST channel inside Pluto TV.
- UEFA Conference League matches only stream in Mexico and Central America here, so point NordVPN at a server in one of those countries.
