How to Watch BlastTV outside the Philippines: VPN Guide 2026
Under its Legit Libre banner, the Philippine BlastTV gives much of the catalog away free with ads: Hollywood and Asian movies, US series, K-dramas, Ani-One anime and a wall of FAST channels, plus live UFC, WWE, NFL and WTA at no charge. The paid Blast Pass simply strips the ads and adds more channels and a VOD library, while the pricier Setanta Blast Pass tops it off with the Setanta Sports channel and selected Premier League, La Liga and NBA matches. BlastTV streams only inside the Philippines and never loads on a US IP address. A foreign IP or VPN trips the available-only-in-the-Philippines error.
That is why the number of countries where the library actually opens is 1. If you live in Manila and want to finish a half-watched series back home, a VPN with a server there, such as ExpressVPN, is worth a try, but the service blocks plenty of foreign and VPN addresses on purpose, so access stays unreliable. Below we lay out what to realistically expect.

How to Unblock BlastTV with a VPN
Takes about 2 minutes. Works on your phone, tablet, TV, PC, or laptop.
- Pick a reliable VPNGo with a proven network such as ExpressVPN, which starts at $2.79 a month. Make sure the provider actually runs a server in the Philippines, otherwise you will never reach BlastTV.An annual plan works out cheaper than paying month to month.
- Connect to a Philippine serverAfter signing in, choose a location in the Philippines and wait for the tunnel to settle. That hands you a local IP address, which BlastTV checks on every load.
- Open BlastTVLaunch blasttv.ph or the app and try to sign in. If the “available only in the Philippines” notice appears, the server gave you away, so switch to a different node in the same country.
- Start the catalogOnce you get through, the library of films, series and FAST channels opens up. BlastTV works on the web, on Android and iOS, on Android TV and over Chromecast, so you can pick whichever device suits you.

Who’s behind the service?
What is BlastTV
BlastTV is a Philippine hybrid streaming service run by TAP Digital Media Ventures. It grew out of the old TAP Go and relaunched under the new name in August 2023. You can watch for free with ads: Hollywood and Asian movies and series, anime from Ani-One and Muse, around thirty FAST live channels, plus live sport such as UFC, WWE and NFL with the odd pay-per-view event. Prefer no ads? An optional Blast Pass subscription clears them out. The library tops a thousand titles. One catch: BlastTV works only inside the Philippines and blocks foreign IPs, VPNs included.

Company and history
- In 2020 TapDMV launched the streaming service TAP Go with live channels and sport, the forerunner of today's BlastTV. It seeded the catalog that would later fold into the new brand.
- Converge ICT and TapDMV officially unveiled BlastTV as a Philippine hybrid service, free with ads plus an optional subscription. It was a relaunch building on the earlier TAP Go project.
- The operator shut down the older TAP Go and merged its content and viewers straight into BlastTV. That unified the offer under one brand and ended a transition with two parallel apps.
- Setanta Sports arrived on BlastTV with selected Premier League, La Liga and NBA matches. The move sharply widened the sport lineup alongside the existing UFC and WWE content.
- The operator added two local news channels, Bilyonaryo News Channel and Abante, to the live lineup on BlastTV. The step strengthened Filipino content alongside foreign films and series.
- BlastTV announced a Legit Libre shift, making much of the catalog free with ads for every Filipino. Marketing promised world-class content from Paramount, WWE and UFC at no charge.
- Aleph and TapDMV struck a deal that lets BlastTV bring the 2026 FIFA World Cup to Filipino screens. Via the World Cup TV channel it offers all 104 matches as a paid pass with Filipino commentary.

Tips & tricks you should know
5 tips from our BlastTV testing team · Updated June 18, 2026
- Not ready to pay: BlastTV has a genuine free ad-supported tier where you can stream FAST channels, anime and live UFC and WWE at no cost.
- Before committing to Blast Pass, claim the 7-day free trial and test the 25+ live channels and 1,000+ title catalogue first.
- Watching with family: your account registers unlimited devices but allows only 2 simultaneous streams, so a third screen hits an error.
- Following football: the 2026 World Cup runs on a separate WCTV pay-per-view channel and is not bundled into the regular Blast Pass.
- BlastTV is Philippines-only and blocks foreign IPs including most VPNs, so from abroad you need a reliable ExpressVPN with a Manila server.
