BBC Lifestyle is BBC Studios’ international lifestyle and factual channel, on air since 29 July 2007. It serves up food, home and design, fashion and style, health and parenting, from “Antiques Roadshow” and “DIY SOS” to “Mansions with Phil Spencer.” This is strictly an export channel: it is not broadcast in the UK, and it does not reach the US, Germany, France or Czechia. You watch it inside pay-TV packages from local operators, mainly in Poland and, since 1 April 2026, free on Vodafone TV in Spain, streamed through the BBC Player app or your operator’s app. Pictures are 1080p HD and there is no standalone subscription.

Major changes
- The channel launched on 29 July 2007 in Singapore on the mio TV platform, run by the then BBC Worldwide, now BBC Studios. It skipped British viewers entirely and aimed straight at export markets.
- In December 2007 the channel reached Poland on Cyfrowy Polsat, today Polsat Box. Poland became its anchor market, where BBC Lifestyle still airs across most operators to this day.
- On New Year's Eve 2010 Romania joined via Digi TV. The move widened BBC Lifestyle's Central European footprint and confirmed that its future lay outside Britain.
- From 1 October 2023 the channel ran in the Philippines on operator Cignal, where it replaced National Geographic. The Asian push thus continued alongside Singapore and Taiwan.
- On 15 October 2025 BBC Studios launched the BBC Player VOD service in Spain on Movistar Plus+, with 700 hours of programming, including lifestyle output close to the BBC Lifestyle channel.
- From 1 December 2025 Vodafone TV in Spain added BBC Player free for every customer, with a 700-hour catalogue of BBC Studios programming, lifestyle output included.
- On 1 April 2026 BBC Lifestyle arrived as a free linear channel on Spain's Vodafone TV at position 117, alongside BBC Earth and BBC History. It came at no extra cost for customers.
- On 12 May 2026 Vodafone TV in Spain added an English audio track to the BBC channels, BBC Lifestyle included, so viewers can watch in the original language alongside the Spanish dub.
