It started in 2009 as CuboVision, a set-top box Telecom Italia unveiled in Milan to bring broadcast TV, web video and on-demand movies to the living room. Today TIMVISION is TIM’s streaming and pay-TV hub, bundling HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video with its own catalog on a single bill. For anyone in the US wondering about watching TIMVISION outside Italy, the answer sits in the subscription terms.
Those terms let subscribers open the catalog from mobile devices when they travel in EU countries, and that’s where it stops. The US isn’t covered, and the offer is sold only in Italy, with the bundles also requiring a TIM line. A VPN with a server in Italy, such as ExpressVPN, changes your virtual location, so you can watch from anywhere just as you would at home. You pay for your own subscription. Partner apps follow their own rules. Picture quality reaches 4K on the TIMVISION Box and with select partners, not across the whole catalog.

TIMVISION is the TV and streaming service from Italian carrier TIM (Telecom Italia). Every plan includes TIMVISION Play, its own catalog of movies, series, cartoons, and family shows, plus Eurosport channels live and on demand, the full discovery+ catalog, and Mediaset and La7 channels with the past week’s shows. The S, M, and L bundles combine partner services on a single TIM bill: S adds HBO Max, Netflix, and Infinity+, M adds Disney+, and L adds Amazon Prime. The bundles require a TIM landline or mobile line and are annual contracts paid in monthly installments. Without a TIM line, you can only get standalone TIMVISION, billed monthly by card and cancelable anytime. It streams on the web, phones and tablets, smart TVs, Android TV, Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Xbox One. The TIMVISION Box, an Android TV decoder, handles 4K, as does select partner content. Sales are limited to Italy. Under its terms, subscribers traveling in the EU can access the catalog from their mobile devices. Outside the EU, including the US, the terms offer no access.
