iVysílání ČT is the free on-demand portal and player run by Czech Television (Česká televize): it gathers programming from all of its channels (ČT1, ČT2, the ČT24 news channel, ČT sport, the kids’ ČT:D, and arts channel ČT art), plus their live streams, in one place. Launched back in 2008, it holds more than 23,000 titles funded by the Czech licence fee. The catch is that it is geo-locked to the Czech Republic. Try to open iVysílání ČT outside Czechia and you are met with a black screen and a licensing error, because Czech Television holds most of its rights for the home territory only.
