Major changes
- OTE launched its first sports channel under the name Conn-x TV Sports as part of the Conn-x TV cable and IPTV platform, laying the foundation of what would become a full sports network.
- The platform rebranded to OTE TV and the sports channels became OTE Sport. A sixth HD feed was added and channels 4 and 5 were upgraded to full high definition.
- On 14 November 2016 OTE TV renamed the entire platform COSMOTE TV and the sports channels became Cosmote Sport, aligning the brand with the parent mobile operator and marking the start of a new era.
- On 19 May 2021 Cosmote Sport sealed an enhanced exclusive NBA deal for Greece covering more than 350 live games per season, regular season, play-offs and the NBA Finals, becoming the sole legal destination for US basketball in the country.
- A cross-supply deal with rival Nova took effect from 23 August 2024: COSMOTE TV subscribers gained Novasports channels for an extra 3 euros per month while Nova subscribers got access to the sports channels.
- OTE Group launched the transitional dual identity Cosmote Telekom, blending the Deutsche Telekom T logo with the existing Cosmote brand. The full switch to the Telekom name is expected to complete by autumn 2026.
- Cosmote Sport kicked off the 2025/26 Super League season with exclusive home-match rights for eight of the fourteen top-flight clubs: Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, AEK, OFI, Panetolikos, Volos NFC, AEL Novibet and Kifisia.
- Cosmote Sport renewed exclusive NBA rights for Greece in March 2026 under a revised deal reflecting reduced inventory from the league's new domestic broadcast agreements, while retaining sole exclusivity in the Greek market.
