Rogers spent three years pulling Citytv+ out of a storefront it did not own. What began in 2022 as a paid add-on inside Prime Video now runs as its own app, and it carries the widest single stack of Canadian cable brands you can buy without a set-top box: Citytv, Bravo, HGTV, Food Network, Discovery, FX, FXX, ID, Magnolia Network, OWN and OMNI, live channels and on-demand libraries together.
That stack stops at the border. Rights are cleared for Canada, the iPhone app is listed only in the Canadian App Store, and a login that worked in Toronto on Friday throws a location error on Monday in Lisbon.
